Our Businesses

On Deck Capital Inc. launched as a FinTech startup in 2007 to solve a major issue facing small businesses: gain efficient access to capital. Our passion for Main Street and the cutting-edge technology we use to evaluate businesses based on their actual performance, not solely business owners’ personal credit scores, make it possible for us to responsibly expand access to credit. This allows businesses to spend their time where it provides the most benefit—on their customers and on growing, not looking for a small business loan. Since then, OnDeck has become the largest online small business lender in the United States, issuing over $13 billion in loans in over 700 industries.

In 2015, OnDeck chose to expand to Canada and Australia to further the company’s strategic initiative in addressing the financing needs of small businesses in select international markets.

In 2018, OnDeck introduced ODX, a new company aimed at helping banks digitize their small business lending process.

OnDeck

OnDeck pioneered the use of data analytics and digital technology to evaluate, approve and fund small business loans in as little as 24 hours.

As one of the first official FinTech companies, OnDeck quickly raised investments from First Round Capital, Google Ventures, Institutional Venture Partners, Tiger Global Private Investment Partners and SAP Ventures.

OnDeck is headquartered in New York City and also has offices located in Arlington, Virginia and Denver, Colorado.

In December 2014, OnDeck went public on the New York Stock Exchange as ONDK.

ODX

In 2018, OnDeck launched its tech venture ODX, a wholly owned subsidiary that partners with global and regional banks to digitize their small business lending process.

ODX offers a combination of software, analytic insights and professional services. The company represents an expansion of OnDeck’s existing platform services to address the increasing demand from banks who want to reinvent their online small business lending process.

ODX also resides in New York City, Arlington, Virginia and Denver, Colorado.
